Family history conference
RootsTech
The world's largest family-history gathering brings together genealogists, family historians, and anyone tracing their roots. We love what RootsTech stands for, and we love helping the people who attend it bring their discoveries home.
What is RootsTech?
Hosted by FamilySearch (the free genealogy database run by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), RootsTech draws hundreds of thousands of attendees in person and online. Workshops, keynote speakers, and hands-on labs cover everything from DNA analysis to passenger-manifest research to preserving oral history.

For RootsTech attendees
If you've spent the conference filling in branches on FamilySearch or Ancestry, the natural next step is getting that work off the screen and onto your wall. We turn your tree into custom-made art: six generations of names and stories, designed in the season that suits your family.
Bring your FamilySearch tree (or just a username, and we'll pull the data with your permission) and we'll handle the rest. Most orders ship within two weeks.
Why we care about RootsTech
Nearest & Dearest exists because family history is one of the few things that genuinely outlasts us. RootsTech is where that conviction shows up at scale: tens of thousands of people choosing to spend a week of their lives understanding where they came from. We're proud to make something that honors that work.
